We, at Vadipro, are on the lookout for a Production Manager to lead our production team. In this role, you’ll have the responsibility to drive seamless production, lead improvements, and champion our commitment to excellence in the pet care industry. All this in a hands-on environment where you’re can have a real impact.
Your Role & Responsibilities:
As our Production Manager, you’ll lead the entire production process—driving efficiency, upholding safety, and ensuring top-quality output across our manufacturing facility.
Lead Daily Operations: Oversee day-to-day production to ensure our products are made on time, within budget, and meet top quality standards.
Team Leadership: Manage and coach the production team, keeping workflows efficient, training up-to-date, and protocols followed.
Quality Control: Ensure quality at every production stage (following the GMP+ guidelines), promptly addressing any quality or safety concerns.
Collaboration with Assets: Work closely with our maintenance team to keep the machines and equipment in top shape and avoid production delays.
Performance Monitoring: Track key metrics like output, costs, and efficiency, sharing insights and reports with management.
Continuous Improvement: Drive process enhancements to boost productivity, cut costs, and increase productivity.
Procurement Coordination: Collaborate with procurement to maintain a steady raw materials flow while keeping inventory efficient.
Sales Alignment: Coordinate with sales and business development to match production capacity with demand and ensure timely deliveries.
ERP key-user: Act as the primary contact for the production team on our ERP (Business Central) system.
ERP Training & Compliance: Train production staff on ERP processes to ensure accurate, consistent data entry.
Electromechanical Expertise As a Major Plus: Be the go-to person for all things electrical and electromechanical in production would be a major asset in this role.
Your Profile:
Our ideal candidate has an hands-on mentality, is willing to roll up their sleeves and actively support on the production floor and will have a strong background in production management, even as a proven ability to optimize processes and drive continuous improvement. Ideally also adding expertise in electricity and electromechanics.
Educational Background: Degree in Electricity, Engineering, Manufacturing, or Operations Management; a Master’s is a plus.
Relevant Experience: Proven experience as a Production Manager, ideally in agriculture, food processing, or animal feed.
Production Expertise: Extensive knowledge of production management, quality control, and lean manufacturing techniques.
Process Mastery: Proficient in production planning, process optimization, equipment maintenance, and health/safety regulations.
Leadership & Team Skills: A positive team leader with excellent management skills to foster a productive and cooperative environment.
Problem Solver: Proactive, with strong problem-solving abilities to address and prevent production challenges.
ERP Experience: Hands-on with Business Central ERP (or similar systems) and production software, as well as Microsoft Office applications.
Multilingual: Fluent in Dutch, French, and English.
Work Schedule Flexibility: Available to optimally support the production team working in two shifts.
